About Me: The Desire to Do More
I was asked a lot when I was younger what I wanted to be when I grew up. I flitted around between a lot of different ideas because I had a lot of passions. I wondered if I’d be a professional athlete, a home builder, lawyer, police officer, etc. By the time I got to 18 years old and decisions had to be made, I still didn’t know, so I just followed my passions.
By 33 years old, I had a list of major accomplishments under my belt. I ran a successful and highly profitable $8.5 Million foundation repair branch and written a technicals sales manual for the billion dollar organization. I had started multiple music projects with highlights including opening for Robert Randolph and the Family Band, AJR, and Langhorne Slim and the Law as well as played a Denver Nuggets Halftime show, twice. I had sold at the corporate level with multiple Million dollar years, coached Varsity High School Football, moved my family of four 6 times, consulted with venture capital on Foundation Repair companies, and managed to teach myself to replace my own brakes, read hundreds of books, listened to podcasts, and was exploring the mysteries of the Universe.
It wasn’t until this last year that I realized that I don’t want a normal career. The idea of waking up and doing the same thing everyday fills me with sadness. As I was searching for my next career, terrified at the prospect of losing everything in my life and wondering how I would support my family, I realized there was only one thing that connected all the parts of my past…
I want to serve people.
So That’s what I do now. I offer multiple services in varying verticals to help you however you need. You need a babysitter? I’ve got you. Mobile Auto Detailing? My family ran detailing shops in Idaho for 30 years. You need someone to review and audit your P&L for operational efficiencies? A 26% EBITDA in 2021 speaks to my experience. You just need someone to pick up your yard? I’ve raked so many leaves in my life it’s not funny. But I’ll do it if you need it.
And if you need someone to help you navigate through a spiritual experience, or provide an alternative perspective, I can do that too. I’m here to serve you.

Basic Services
General Rate for any work you need, whether it’s an extra hand on a jobsite or clean up around the house, yard, etc. You can hire me for manual or office labor work. Materials are not provided and will be charged for on an as needed basis.
1 Hour lessons that not only help you learn your instrument, but also help you connect to the passions of the music you listen to and want to play. I can help guide you through your own journey to discovering what you want out of your musical journey. I can also record guitar and vocal parts for your songs
Having worked in almost every aspect of business including sales, operations, warehouse management, fleet coordination, back end CRM mapping and IT, accounting, and even the installation and construction of home services systems, I can offer you deep cultural and impactful insights to your team as well as a roadmap to increase efficiency and profitability. I focus on relationships first and build the systems from there.
This rate is negotiable and depends on the service itself. However, I can perform at your wedding, private event, etc. and provide sound and equipment. I can hire the right musicians for your event, build the setlist, and help with coordinating the event. I can also write and record a song for you, or compose a work of art of your choice. Just don’t ask me to paint a picture.

How do I book Services?
Any service that requires an initial consultation can be scheduled by contacting me through my email or phone number. You can call or text. If I don’t answer, leave a message and I will get back to you within 24 hours. Call (719) 659-2248 or email me at Jake@wildoaksworks.com. Services that do not require a consultation, such as mobile detailing, general labor, or lessons, can be booked by emailing me with the request. I will follow up with a phone call to schedule a time that works best for both of us!
Are you a Licensed General Contractor?
I am not, and while I have a lot of experience in the building trades, I am not the guy to remodel your home. I can provide contacts for that if you’d like.
What payment do you accept?
I can accept Cash, Check, Venmo, or PayPal. I am working on setting up invoicing through the website so I can offer Credit Card payments soon.
Is there anything not listed on the Services page that you can do?
Yes, quite a bit. I have tutored, done babysitting, demoed rooms, and much more. Depending on your request, I’m sure I can accomodate.
